The second record of this moonlight and rain thing I would like to dedicated to a group of people: beloved friends, close siblings, some long since seen, some seen everyday, some still here, some no longer, all of whom came to mind during the recording process.

It was a real joy to hang out in this wooden house out in the woods, set up studio in an empty room with a giant window looking out onto the oaks, pines, rocks, rain, animals or at night just a dark matted void and the tree speckled glow of a distant neighbor's back porch light.

If this sounds overly sentimental, it's alright. These songs are a letter of love.
